Seriously. You're a commish and a possible owner says "Sometime I miss an event or two due to time restraints. I'll do the best I can but I'm gonna miss an event here and there. If I do, I may sour on the team, it may become a bad in game memory that I would rather not follow me for multiple seasons. I might change my opinion later as it won't effect me for 80 days and maybe I will calm down, but the way I usually feel is don't want to spend the next 5 seasons being ticked off every time I play the team. So, what's the password?"
Do you give him a team?
No, I would not want him. However if the unnecessary time constraints did not exist less owners would need to make that statement. Thats the owners I am targeting .
Because of the unnecessary time constraints I will have to adjust with that team, instead of giving the players what I intended luck made the decision for me. I took over a crap team and built them into a world series contender, I am not going to do the hard work and let someone else reap the benefits.
Since the game took the decision I wanted out of my hands, I will adjust by moving my Intl down 4 mil the max, prospect from 20 to 6, signing one of the players for 9+ mil a season to a possible 20 million 5 year contract., the other player wont be as demanding so I will just have to overpay hopefully a couple mil a season.
I will keep the team for probably 2 more seasons as I make a all out world series run and ignore the future of the team, then because of unnecessary time constraints this team will be the casualty of me cutting teams. Wis will have 1 less owner, and the commish will have to find a new owner to take the place of someone who had been successfully coaching the team for 15+ seasons. The team will still be in better shape than I got it, but in worst shape if luck did not play such a large role in my decision process.
I don't see how that is better for WIS or the world I currently play in.
