The title doesn't say much.  Besides, it's an iPhone.  It can view HBD just fine.  What would an app do that the site could not?

Well off the top of my head for starters,

I dedicated spot on my home bar
push notifications
quicker log in
centering page focusing at the right size to be clearly read on the I phone
In app payment via  loaded payment info.
The coding could have most of the GUI loaded in the app which would speed up loading time, as well as decrease data usage
And finally it wold be cool!!

Off the top of my head, if they are interested in further ideas they can site mail me,  im sure I can think of a lot more.

just to address the first comment, you can save whatever page in safari you want to the homepage and then put that right on the bar if you want.  That's how I operate with it - my password is saved and I saved the world homepage as the start.  One click and I am looking at my team.  It's under the little arrow jumping out of a box button in safari.
