Lets say that there are 200 records to be maintained (way high).
For each record, you need a player name, team name, and value. Lets say thats 100 characters of data combined (again, way high).
And you have to do this for 200 worlds.
200 records * 100 characters each * 200 worlds = about 4 MB of disk space. Add in extra space for indexes, future growth, whatever... its still a miniscule amount of data.
In WIS' defense, they tend to only roll over 3-4 worlds a day, and claim that this is a very processor-intensive process. If thats the case, the overhead from adding this extra process might be more than they're willing to take on. But its certainly not "space."
