Practice plan emails Topic

Please stop having our asst. coach send us emails for guys who have maxed out on a skill when they are practicing 7 minutes or less of that skill.

I disagree.  If you don't like those emails, just ignore them.  This is valuable information.  It shows that those guys were still improving with less than 7 mins in practice.

How they get the info to us is not efficient.  A color-coded ratings chart on the practice plan would be much more user friendly.  As I've said before, success in this game shouldnt be about who can click the mouse a bunch of times, it should be about the decisions one makes with certain information.  If you could ask a two-bit work study kid to produce an "easy to read" document from various pieces of data, I say just give us the easy to ready document.

Well, I thought that no one was supposed to be "improving" with 7 minutes of practice time.

And I can't "ignore them" because you can't tell what skill the email is referring to until you open it.

That is not true ... 7 minutes is the amount required to maintain that works for everyone.

If a guy has good WE he might only need 5 or 6 minutes to maintain.

If you get an e-mail and you have the value set at 7 ... that means you can move it to 6 or maybe even 5 ... maybe not critical information, but I'll take it.

I would agree these emails are annoying, I might find them less so if, as has been suggested in other suggestion forums, they were balanced with information on where the assitant coach thinks the time could be spend more usefully.

If you set up your practice plan in accordance with the player thoughts email, you will not get many of those emails until a kid starts capping out in a bunch of categories.  Good planning can reduce them.  And if you dont like them just ignore them

I know it's been discussed, but can you not easily do something like this on the player grid that appears on the practice page where the potential areas are color coded?

seble, PLEASE do this!! at least a hundred of us have talked about this over time and its one of the only things where everybody universally agreed it would be awesome if you would do this.

also during recruiting if we could avoid looking from page to page and back again 5 times, by putting all the info on 1 screen, that would be great. i am talking about the players main profile page and that tab that shows the potential for all the categories, but does not show work ethic, or ft%, or gpa.

I do that myself for each of my teams - and I would really like it if HD did that for me

The colors should appear ONLY after the player notes email arrives - it just puts into graphic form that same information.  That require black, red and green

THEN, there should be a further color - I use a bright purple - to signal that the skill has maxed, when I get a max email.  That could appear at the time of the max'd message....
