Who's ********?  I'm applauding him for it.    Only took him a little over 5 1/2 years to take the blame for something.
Did I not point out that you weren't ********? I was applauding you for that. Not everything needs to be a fight.

"...although, in all fairness, we never could have passed this law if we had told the truth about it."

And now this administration of transparency has admitted:

a) to the supreme court that the funds that pay for the ACA are taxes, though they told the American people otherwise
b) to the unions that their health plans qualify as additionally taxable "Cadillac plans," though they told the unions otherwise
c) to all citizens that millions of Americans can't keep their current coverage, though they told the American people otherwise

There was an NBC poll earlier this week, and they made a big deal about how we have climbed to something in the neighborhood of 42% percent of the American people who don't think Obama is trustworthy.  I'd be making a bigger deal out of the 58% who clearly don't know the definition of the word "trustworthy".

Well, there is this.

The problem is who the hell is he or you or me to tell anyone that their plan sucks and it doesn't matter if you like your plan its not good enough for you. The FACT is that these people do like their plans no matter what anyone else thinks. That's the problem with politicians... They always think THEY know what's best for people.

What?  That this is what the law was supposed to do?  So your defense for Obama's trustworthiness is that he lacks the reading comprehension to be able to comment on legislation?

A) That's not what he's saying. He's saying that eliminating "scam" plans from the market is a good thing
B) Lawmakers decide what is and isn't good enough for the consumer all the time. See prescription drugs, food safety, car safety, etc.

I'm not defending him. He absolutely did not tell the truth. Either he didn't know or he lied.

Regardless, the goal of the law was to eliminate certain health care plans from the market.

Could I say this about Dubya?

"I'm not defending him. He absolutely did not tell the truth. Either he didn't know or he lied.

Regardless, the goal of the war was to eliminate a dangerous dictator"?

It seems like at least part of it was.
