Could I say this about Dubya?

"I'm not defending him. He absolutely did not tell the truth. Either he didn't know or he lied.

Regardless, the goal of the war was to eliminate a dangerous dictator"?

You could say that.
Hasn't Dubya been blasted for that for, oh, I don't know, forever?

The goal of the ACA was "to eliminate certain health care plans from the market"?
It seems like at least part of it was.
I guess so.

Using that same logic, I suppose another part of the goal of the ACA was to create a ****** website.

When the ACA kills 5,000 soldiers we can talk.

The Democrat Obamacare will murder millions. Soldiers and civilians. We should start a chart and see who is in the lead. Defenseless babies or helpless (insert your parents name here) elders. It's death panel time in Obamaland.

To be fair. I think you should know more Americans have died in Afghanistan under Obama than under Bush.

Who's counting now?

What is the job description of soldiers?     Do you think they're too dumb to know they might be put in harm's way?    Why do you hate our military?

BL hates America.  That's why he's an Obama apologist.

So you supported the Iraq war?
11/15/2013 9:37 AM
I think the world is a better place without Saddam Hussein.

I'd rather 5,000 lives saved (I actually thought it was less, FWIW) than to kill a dictator who posed no imminent danger to the US.  You disagree?

Should we attack North Korea too?

11/15/2013 10:03 AM
The military was not an option for me for two reasons:
1.  I lack the courage to move towards gunfire because someone with more stripes tells me to.
2.  I lack the conviction to tell someone with less stripes to move towards gunfire because I say so.

Therefore, I don't feel qualified to make military decisions.  Do you think you're qualified to make them?

11/15/2013 10:07 AM
None of us are qualified to make decisions about the military, Obamacare, gay marriage, or MVP voting.  So we shouldn't give our opinions on it, right?
11/15/2013 10:08 AM
BTW, our military is voluntary.    People who join are saying "Yes, I will do as told."
11/15/2013 10:09 AM
I'm using common sense.  It doesn't make sense to kill someone who has little to no threat to harming your country if it's going to cost you 5000 lives.

It would be nice if you didn't.

From a basic standpoint, I'd have no problem taking out Kim Jong-Un.  I think he's a very dangerous individual.   But an attack on NK would draw China in.  Not sure we want that.

FWIW, I'd have rather taken out SH with a sniper from 500 yards.   But we have a policy against such things.
