Ferguson Police should be outlawed Topic

He's a ******* idiot.   Lower your expectations for him and you won't be disappointed when he posts something stupid.    Again.

FWIW, before BL takes his "victory" lap, "charged" does not equal "guilty".

Anyway, when I see people looting stores, burning cars and throwing anything they can put their hands on at the police, I think "You know, we should treat those people better."   Because, when someone breaks the law, they should be rewarded.

Of course it hasn't been confirmed.    First, we riot.   Then we get the facts.  That's the process.
Correction.  We just riot and blame the cops for forcing us to riot.  No need to care about the facts either before or after.
Let's say, for the sake of argument, that the justice system in America is racist against blacks. Let's also say, for the sake of argument, that this racism had been essentially ignored until black people started protesting and rioting. And finally, let's say that the attention brought from the protesting and rioting actually delivered a meaningful change in the way the justice system treats black people.

In that case, would the rioting be ok?

I say yes.
Because violence and destruction is an acceptable course of action?

Good job.

Because the ends justify the means.

No....

5 million illegal aliens will get amnesty from an executive order without a single riot. Why can't blacks use the proper channels to accomplish change?

BL

Let's say the NRA felt their 2nd amendment rights were being trampled and they started rioting... And it brought awareness to the situation and they got their rights back.... You are suggesting good be OK with that.

Or let's say Christian's riot against gay marriage because it infringes upon their faith .... Would you be OK with that?

Or gay rights activists start rioting and burning down private businesses so they can get married.... Would you be OK with that?

Or employees thought they were being mistreated and destroyed the offices they work in... Would you be on with that?

There is a right way to do things and a wrong way. Rioting is NEVER the right way.

If gun owners were killed by the government for owning guns and no one really cared or paid attention to it, yes, a riot would be ok.

If married gay people were being thrown in prison for being married and no one really cared or paid attention to it, yes, a riot would be ok.

If christians were handcuffed and killed in the back of a police van and no one really cared or paid attention to it, yes, a riot would be ok.

You guys are trying to reason with a ******* idiot.    Don't.   Because you can't reason with ******* idiots due to the simple fact that they are ******* idiots.

5/1/2015 3:18 PM
Well then **** BL, why even have a legal system if you don't need to use it?

What SPECIFICALLY do you want to get out of these riots that CAN'T be done LEGALLY? If its a law change.... couldn't Al Sharpton ask his boy Barrack who he needs to speak to in the senate?

I'll reiterate that 5 million ILLEGALS will get amnesty without One. Single. Riot.
5/1/2015 3:34 PM
Attention. If the entire system is racist, who can you sue?

To fix the problem, enough people have to admit that the problem exists.

I'm not trying to reason with him.  I'm trying to see if there's a limit to his stupidity.

I don't think we're anywhere near it yet.

Are you dumb enough to believe that that is an analogous situation? You can do better, moy jr.

Dude.  You're the person who's saying that lawless behavior and wanton destruction of property can be justified.

Look in the mirror if you want to start calling people dumb.  That will be a good place for you to start.

5/1/2015 4:04 PM
You don't think that protests and riots can ever be justified?
5/1/2015 4:05 PM
As soon as someone says "The ends justify the means", they no longer have an argument.    Or at least an argument where they say "Yeah, that's not the same thing" because "the ends" is always in the eye of the beholder.

I doubt anyone rioting in Baltimore believes in their cause a fraction as much as ISIS believes in theirs.    Or the Boston Maraton bomber.    Or the KKK.    Or any batshit crazy group/person who's fighting the "good fight" for what's "right".
