With Confederate monuments being vandalized, I'm assuming they're the next to go.   Seems to me that a lot of things are going to need to be removed.   Half of Mt. Rushmore needs to go.  Washington and Jefferson owned slaves.   Tsk, tsk.   Gotta go.

Gotta get some new faces on money.

Essentially, I think we, as Americans, just need to start our history around 1900.   Nothing of note happened before then is the only safe way to go.

Well, on second thought, better move that up a few.   When were women allowed to vote?  The 1920s?   Better start there.

Oh, ****, segregation!!  Seperate but equal my ***.   Would it be OK to start our history in the mid-70s?

According to BL, the military units who brandished the Confederate flag in the wars in Europe and the Pacific in WWII were doing so for the right to preserve slavery.
Did I say that?

I thought you wanted to drop it?

Well, you did say that the flag represented the desire to protect slavery.  If fact, you've been insisting that's pretty much the ONLY thing it represents.  So why else would anybody display it if not to promote that idea?

But sure, I'd like to drop it.  Nothing else I can say will force you to see the failure of your argument.  You, though, seem to be unable to let it go.  Stubborn and dumb is a bad combination, and you're the poster child for that.

You also have this childish need to get the last word in.  A final statement.  I think, in your mind, if you get the final word in, it proves that you've "won".

I find that funny.  You amuse me.  Like a clown.

The flag represents the fight to protect slavery. You've never disagreed with that.

WTF?
Which statement do you disagree with:

The flag is a way a bunch of rednecks remember a war lost 150 years ago.

The South fought that war to protect slavery.
