Why are you trying to put words in my mouth?

Do you think CA will probably go blue in the general election?

I disagree that anything is a sure thing.  The general election is still 14 months away.

It's pretty silly to think that anything is a sure thing right now.

But hey, it's you.  You're a dumbass.  I'd expect nothing less than something stupid coming from you.

Congrats.

California most likely will go blue. It's highly unlikely any Republican spends the kind of money in CA it would take to make it go red. It's mitts 47%.

How would I know?  The general election is 14 months away, and nobody knows who will be on the ballot.

It's a stupid question.  But hey, it's you.  You're a dumbass.  I'd expect nothing less than something stupid coming from you.

No one "knows" anything before the election, regardless of whether it's 14 months or one day away.

Again, you don't disagree that California will likely go blue, you just have a huge stick up your ***.
9/14/2015 11:23 AM
I neither agree nor disagree about anything when there are no details available about something so far away.

The stick AND the *** appear to be yours, with your insistence on telling me what what my opinions must be despite what I'm very clearly saying.

But hey, it's you.  You're a dumbass.  I'd expect nothing less than something stupid coming from you.

There are plenty of details available but, if you don't have or want to speak your opinion on it, that's fine. But then why insert yourself into the conversation?

I say something like "CA will go blue in the general."

You say "what makes you so sure?"

I say "It's very probable, do you disagree?"

You say, "I have no opinion on the topic but you're dumb."

Seems like you are just on a mission to argue with me but you don't disagree with what I say.

What details are available?

Do we know who the candidates will be on the ballot?  That's kind of an important detail to know when you're talking about who is going to win the general election.

And I will agree with this: you sure are dumb.

What details are available?

Polling numbers for 2016
Actual results from 2012
Polling from 2012
The comparison between polling in 2012 and the results in 2012
Actual results from 2008
Polling from 2008
The comparison between polling in 2008 and the results in 2008
and so on

If you had to guess, would you guess blue or red for California in 2016?

9/14/2015 11:44 AM
So you're saying that the results are already predetermined?
9/14/2015 11:46 AM
No, why would you think that?

I'm saying that we have plenty of information and can make an educated guess on the probability of the outcome.
9/14/2015 11:49 AM
Again, if you had to guess, would you guess blue or red for California in 2016?

What's hilarious about this is that your desire to pick a fight with me backs you into such a tight corner that you can't even state your opinion.

You end up just railing against the fact that I had the nerve to state my opinion.

Like. "how DARE you say what you think might happen in the 2016 election in the 2016 Presidential Race thread. Why yes, today is my first day on the internet, thanks for asking."

I'm backed into a tight corner?

You're funny.  You amuse me.  Like a clown.

Here's what's funny about this whole conversation:

1)  You say "we'll go blue in the general" as if it's a statement of fact.
2)  I question why you say that?
3)  You respond "because we will".
4)  I mock as "Nostradumbass".  Because once again, you state your opinions as if they are indisputable fact.
5)  You turn around and insist that I "don't disagree that California will probably go blue", when I said NOTHING about what I did or didn't think California would do.
6)  You continue to try to get me to commit to a prediction, AFTER I pointed out that it's foolish to make predictions about who will win an election 14 months from now when you DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO WILL BE ON THE ******* BALLOT.

Like I said.  You amuse me.  Like a clown.

Blue.

The growing Latino population in CA leans majority Democrat and no Republican has come close to winning the state since Reagan (a California Governor) did.... Over 25 years ago. Not to mention Republicans would be foolish at this point to waste money campaigning in California now, 5 months from now, 12 months from now. Mitts 47%.
