2016 Presidential Race Topic

I'm more interested in WHO is posting on this thread and WHAT they post.

A bunch of interested and intelligent people are asking intelligent questions.

But the same liberals who have nothing to say about their own party and people only post when they can take a swipe at the loyal opposition.

Where is the discussion on recent liberal policy and law?  It is absent.  And it is not the fault of the loyal opposition.

It is the fault of the fourth estate which no longer exists.  The lapdog journalists who are no longer journalists.  Overpaid stenographers for the White House.  Every graduate of liberal journalism jaundiced and poisoned by tenured professores secure in their wealth and uneasy in their own skin.  Determined to conform the flower of good souls given over to them by those who they detest.  Turning the fruit and labor of others into their own failed hours.  Misery enjoys company.

This current failed democrat party is selling the barn.

This current Republican leadership is following them.

It is time for a sea change.  Sink or swim.

My days are numbered. I won't  be here much longer.  I'm rooting for you.

Make the right choices.  It's not gonna affect me.  It's gonna affect all the kids and neighbors around me and you.

They deserve the same chance our dads gave to us.  And if your dad gave you a bum then get over it.  You're a big boy now.  It's on you.

Swim.

LOL.   Trump does what's best for Trump.   Anyone who believes otherwise should brush up on their Trump knowledge.
Of course he does, but I'd rather have somebody doing what they truly feel is right than somebody who kisses their Party's azz all the time. As long as Parties dictate how officials vote, this Country has no Democracy.
Doing what they truly feel is right??? For chrissakes, Trump ain't Jimmy Stewart in Mr Smith Goes to Washington. If a loudmouthed bigot who doesn't kiss their Party's *** is all you want, you can probably find one at your local dive bar. Maybe someone who, unlike Trump, he might not expect people to kiss his ***. But whomever you find probably shouldn't be President either.
Name calling only drives people CLOSER to Trump.... And if you need to find a bigot look no further than the guy in office. Washington is broken and President Trump will fix it. He won't be bought and paid for by lobbyists. He'll get in there and actually DO the things people want rather than just talk about it, unlike these politicians running for President.
What the **** are you talking about?

Name calling? You mean like:
  • loser
  • lightweight
  • moron
  • dummy
  • zero
  • clown

And on what planet is Obama a bigot, but not Trump? Alternate Reality Conservatism at it's finest - project your own flaws onto your opponents.

Part of me wonders at whom Obama's supposed bigotry is directed. It might be interesting to see conductor moy drive the crazy train down that track.

On the other hand, there's the time-tested mantra "shut up, moy."

Trump widens his lead to 20 points

"Real estate mogul Trump has widened his lead to 20 points in a brand new Zogby Analytics poll taken after the second Republican presidential debate. The new poll of 405 likely Republican primary/caucus voters nationwide with a margin of sampling error of +/- 5.0 percentage points, conducted September 18-19, shows Mr. Trump with 33% (up 2 points from his pre-debate 31%). In second place is neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson who actually dropped 3 points to 13%. Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, widely considered to be the big winner in the debate, moved up from just 2% last week to 7% and fourth place in the new poll – just 2 points behind former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s 9% (which is exactly where he was last week)."

The best part:

"Mr. Trump’s lead is across the board, among most major sub-groups – 36% among men, 30% with women, 30% Republicans, 39% independents, 29% moderates, and 31% conservatives."

He's not just appealing to the 'crazies'
Though they are his core following.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump after speaking at the Iowa Faith Donald Trump remains the front-runner for the Republican nomination for president — but two candidates have surged after last week's intense CNN debate.
Trump is slumping in a new CNN/ORC poll released Sunday. He leads the crowded field with 24% of the Republican vote, down eight points from a similar survey earlier in the month.

Meanwhile, former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) — whom many pundits identified as the two winners of the debate — have jumped a few spots. Fiorina has vaulted into second behind Trump, grabbing 15% of the vote. She had just 3% support in the CNN poll earlier this month.

Rubio is in fourth place with 11% of the Republican vote, also up from 3%. He's also behind retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who fell to third place amid Fiorina's rise. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) stands in fifth place, with 9% of the vote. He also had 9% in the last CNN poll.

Fiorina has risen from virtually nonexistent support to a top-tier candidate with strong performances in the first Republican "undercard" debate in August and in last Wednesday's CNN affair.

Fiorina repeatedly clashed with Trump at the CNN event, including over his recent comments that mocked her face. And she earned perhaps the biggest applause line of the night by advocating for defunding the Planned Parenthood organization.

Indeed, 52% of Republicans who watched the debate said Fiorina did the "best job," according to the CNN poll. She was far ahead of Rubio (14%) and Trump (11%). Meanwhile, 31% said Trump did the "worst job" in the debate, which led the Republican field.
1) Trump is STILL leading.

2) you forgot to post this from the same poll:

"Trump still stands out on the issues.

About 44% of likely GOP voters say they see Trump as the candidate who could best handle the economy -- well ahead of his nearest competitors: Fiorina at 11%, Rubio at 10% and Bush at 8%.

Trump also wins on immigration, with 47% saying he could best address the issue, ahead of second-place Rubio's 15% and Bush's 9%.

He even edges Rubio, 22% to 17%, on who could best handle foreign policy."

New poll shows Carly Fiorina leading Trump in New Hampshire

I saw that. A blip.... Just like Carson was in another state poll. Carly will be destroyed once her record gets out. Republicans only need to pull out the Barbara Boxer playbook.... Cut 30,000 jobs, Ran HP into the ground, etc.

Walker's OUT, good job Trump. Keep butt-******* high profile conservative competitors until it's just you and Carson.

Clinton 2016!

or...any other Democrat 2016!

Sad to see Walker go but he really sucked it up in the debates. If you are going to run on being bold you have to be bold. Too little too late.

Trump on the other hand... 2 KOs, 15 more to go to make America great again.
