To be fair, the "intelligence gatherers" haven't exactly been on point. Not sure what options he has but there is a point in his message.

As far as military intelligence gathering goes, Trump said "the people that have been doing it for our country, I mean, look what’s happened over the last 10 years. … It’s been catastrophic. Very easy to use them, but I won't use them, because they’ve made such bad decisions.”

Bracco, what part of this is not 100% true?

The people who have died at the hands of those on the "watch" list and then removed would disagree. Well, if dead people could talk.

Do you have a number of how many that is? Just curious.
Not really. Boston, San Bernandino and I think Orlando. But maybe the authorities were alerted on Orlando when he tried to buy 10,000 bullets but they couldn't figure out who he was. There might be more and I might be wrong about SB. Nonetheless, one is too many if you lost someone.

Looking at **** from 10,000 feet is nice. But, when it's your house, it's different. If your sister's leg got blown off in Boston, you view it differently. Maybe that's how we should view it even if it didn't directly affect us.

Of course not. But, under the current guidelines, people come off the watch list because they're on it too long without incident or some dumb **** like that. Not arguing Trump does better, you know I'm not a Trump guy, but America can do better. "Let's take him off because he hasn't done anything in the last year." Why? Isn't national security important enough to watch a dude for the rest of his life?
