I'm kinda in a bind in $ - I have a few hitters that should go FA next season as a Type B - but I might be forced to re-sign them because I have no prospects to fill their spots. For the time being though - My S18 team might put up a better record than last season.
Also, your 2B, 3B, SS and LF all suck.

If anyone in NYC wants to do lunch tomorrow sitemail me..I'll just need detailed instructions on getting around and parking.

I actually am not convinced you are going to be that great this season moy.  Along with the position players I mentioned above, you still need a few more pitchers while you only have 9 million to spend.  Have fun losing in the second round of the playoffs.

Driving seems silly.

Then again, you won the WS last season with pretty much the same team...  so who the f' knows?

I am going to get one of the WCs in $ this year...write it down, put it on your fridge and a couple months from now, send it to me and I will sign it for you.

I think that is indeed a possibility.

Also bret, I have the wealth of top flight bullpen arms you need.

Well, I have to drive somewhere to pick up the train or whatnot. I have to visit two Lowe's stores in Brooklyn, in the morning.

lost in game 7 to Ace the year before that too. I really need a SP3 - thats all. My line-up is old but can hit and get on base a lot w/ high BE.

My plan - win enough to get the playoff bye. Start the **** out of SP's Torcato and Duran the rest of the way in the playoffs. I need a spot starter for the playoffs though jic... thus the SP3 I need. My RPs can keep the score down with Elcano, Carasone, Keller, and Hawkins long enough for my hitters to score.

Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City, Minnesota and Seattle seem like the top teams ML talent-wise in HR.  Am I missing anyone?
I'm hurt. Deeply.
Pitching is overrated. I just need a good enough pitching staff to get me to the playoffs, and I can shorten it from there.

And the defense isn't bad at all... A lot of range amongst my projected starters. I don't really see it as that bad.

They can field... .thats what I need from them. Other than that they definitely suck.

He should be really good on defense down the line. I know my projections for him are off, but looking where he is now and how much room he has to grow, he'll be very good.
I had him 3-5 points lower in each fielding category and a little higher in some of the hitting ones.
I don't see how his fielding ratings could be much lower given his current ratings and his age.
