Wait, a bank was robbed in Banksville?  Have they questioned all the whos down in Whoville?

Ugh

Yeah.  That wasn't my point.

I can't work and do this at the same time.

there was no talk that Ive seen on mine and bobby lee's deal in KP. Im hoping that means I was only raped a little bit.

You got who would be the most "popular" player in the deal...  Montanez is a guy that I abhor but BLE will like.  File is probably a little better than Reimold but most people would take Reimold.  Andino is trash.

Looking it over, this is probably your worst team to date in KP and the competition keeps getting better.  You may struggle to make the playoffs but your division is crap so probably not.

Portland will be pretty tough this season (KP).

I dont disagree. Andino was a late addition to the deal to fill in. I needed to gain an SP with the ST injury. I'll admit my payroll hurt me. I couldnt do a thing this offseason. I maybe should have let some of my arb guys go--but with FA prices where they were I dont think I would have done much better value-wise. The Daniels deal is the one that really handcuffed me. That deal will put me in better shape for next season--saving File's and Montanez's contracts. Im just hoping to eek out the division again and to be able to improve next season.

Yeah...  that Daniels deal is tough.  It is obviously stated that I don't like the Riggen deal but at least he is a top flight player (maybe the best player in the world)...  Both deals become a lot more to bear due to the existence of one another though.  32 million to two guys, only one of whom is good, is a bitter pill.

I wonder if you could ultimately do a deal where you trade Riggen and force the buyer to also take Daniels and still get solid talent in return.  Season 4-6 is usually when free agency starts to bear more fruit.  I am not sure you would ever get what you would want in that deal...  You obviously probably don't get anyone as good as Riggen back, but if you could get 2-3 AS-ish players back while losing the Daniels deal, it might be worth exploring.

It would be tough to find someone to take both deals. To get rid of Daniels Id probably have to give up cheaper prospects..which Id rather avoid. I need to take a close look at what I think Ill have to pay my arb and fas next year and beyond.

Yeah...  especially with the 100 million ceiling.

Why is every player in this deal a current or former real-life Oriole? When did KP start bleeding over into MLB?

I assume you meant Andino was the throw in by the way...
