Score one for the innerwebz: the "anonymous" douchefuckbagtard who sold his "I hooked up with Christine O'Donnell, sort of" story to Gawker has already been outed. The very least he deserves is unemployment and social ostracism.

There is always some stat you can latch on to and make it the point. Say "look at this one stat, it means everything".

We need to reduce spending. We take in plenty of money to run the government.

None. We probably havent a sound economic government for over a century. Its looking like we may see a House with strong Libertarian representation. Which will probably start us on a path to sound economic policies. A start will be no more illogical economic legislation passed for the next 2 years. We will probably have to wait another 2 years before we can start repealing some of the illogical economic legislatons that have been passed over the last century.

Whereas I see an incoming House that pays occasional lip service to Libertarian principles but probably couldn't find its own *** economically with both hands.

I'm expecting a lot of government shutdown kind of stuff, with no regard for impact, rather than serious efforts to reform how and why we spend.

Point me to some specific would-be freshman candidates you think are making sense economically. Because I've looked, and haven't seen any.

We have an incoming House with Libertarian candidates who have circumvented our two party system by hi-jacking the Republican Party. I suspect they will stubbornly stick to the platforms that propelled them to the House. They will be very transparent and very hard working.

There has been a total disregard for the negative impact of most legislation that has been passed in the past 100 years. I expect a total disregard for those failed policies.

There is nothing that any of the would-be freshman candidiates economic platforms that makes sense to you. I totally expect that. It would be a waste of effort on my part to enlighten you. You know that, so why ask for direction?

I'll ask again - point me to some specific would-be freshmen Congresspeople who you think make sense on economic issues. They don't have to make sense to me; they have to make sense to you. That's kind of the point of the exercise.

m_k, I'm not trying to pick a fight on this one. Honest. I want to see what you're seeing. I'd love for there to be real reform of the way the government raises its budget, and the way it spends it. But I can't find anybody from the likely incoming Congressional class who seems to have a clue how to get there.

The point is that they all are on the same page. If an economic problem is faced we dont spend more.

We dont really need to cut spending in large ways, just not increase it.

These are people that are not going to be afraid to trim programs. To eliminate the beauracracy.

I know these are not specifics. The point is that every time an economic issue comes up they will have a position that is similar to mine.

A Congressman cant really have a huge plan in place before he is elected. He isnt the president.

Why? I think it is just the opposite.

These people are going to do what they want. They dont need to worry about elections and fame. They know if they do their job the Tea Party will support them.

The media is already building windmills for Don Quixote liberals. Which is why I believe that our inept news media will become almost totally disregarded over the next five years. People are sick and tired of looking for news and finding nothing but editorial opinions.

I would have to know the basics of what you would call budget reform.

It felt sooo good to vote for some the Libertarian candidates this morning. I did not vote for a single moderate. If a liberal beats a moderate, I really dont care anymore.
