Romero was great, and should get in eventually.  I'd vote for him now if he'd been able to put up more innings.

Al Romero is one that I will champion after this year.
He's at least as deserving as Pride.  There were few better than him for the first 10 or so seasons of the league

Pride, Day, Bates and a host of others miss the cut for me.  Voting for the top two starting pitchers (Romero and Franco), the AL dominating Grieve, the best pure slugger in Yoshii, and the best hitter in any world Morton

I don't see how Day's not first ballot.  3100+ hits, over a .900 OPS, and a 300/300 guy, playing a lot of time at a premium position.

Franco and Romero both are deserving, but it also seem reasonable to make them wait.

I'd say Morton, Day and Yoshii should really go in right now, and reasonable minds can differ (to the tune of like a dozen or more possibilities) about the other two possible votes.
