With 100 Million in payroll the Surf Dogs are looking pretty solid.  The NL West is always extremely competitive and despite the fact that #2 SP Alfonso Gonalez will miss 6-8 starts I am optimistic that we can win the division.

I would love another WS shot at the surf dogs. GL this season

My team is looking a lot better than last season...we may actually finish close to .500. We won't hit any HRs, though.

I will struggle to hit them as well.  I don't expect to do well though.

My offense should be about as potent as last season.  I think the overperformers and underperformers kind of equaled out.

I thought I had a good shot last season, then all of my veteran position players had horrific seasons.   My pitching was better last season than it was the season that I won the WS, my offense let me down.

I think my team is better this season. Woo had a great Preseason and hopefully that holds up so I won't miss gonzales.... Calvin Kim is a big addition to an already stacked bullpen. Most of my hitters are gonna go in fa next season.... it will get interesting then.

I'm going with a 4 man rotation this season. PCs are set for 80-95 for my starters to conserve stam..... so the experiment begins.

I went 4 man for most of last season.  I just had to sprinkle in a few spot starts occaisonally from a long reliever.  My pitchers all have pretty high stamina though.

My team is 2nd to KC for having the most international players in $ with 12.

I'm about halfway through Season 4 of The Wire.  Will probably watch a bunch of other stuff before I get to Season 5, just because I don't want it to be done.

Season 5 of The West Wing may have been a pretty good one.  I can never remember how that show flowed, but I know it dropped off and then spiked back up before fading into Bolivian.

Five was weak.  Donna getting blown up in the mideast, Leo's (prescient) heart attack, Isreal/Palestine talks...maybe the worst season they had.  First one without Sorkin.   Picked back up in Season 6 with the Smits/Alda campaign.
