I wasn't gonna vote on it, but then I looked and saw it.  VD was getting 3 ML level players for a platoon Catcher, right?

I don't think the 1B VD got has an ML caliber bat for his position.

Basically he got a decent young COF and a solid, but old, catcher back. Clearly won the deal, but I didn't see it as ridiculous, especially relative to what we typically let go. Briese is under the conviction that the other owner is deliberately trashing his team.

I really think the issue is its this guys first season.  If Moy and Bot made the same deal, I dont know that it wouldve been made mention of in world chat, let alone vetoed

VD gave up a Catcher that should be an above average catcher, and is providing jstnkelly some cap releif and some other crappy pitchers.  In return he's getting a strong, but well paid catcher, a nice but unremarkable 1B prospect with crappy makeup, and a legitimate everyday infield prospect.  He won the trade, but I dont know that anything he got back is going to break the back of the Colorado franchise

The guy has played almost 30 seasons.

i honestly am not even doing the deal for the old C, I already have Lee at C, that guy im trading for will platoon for me with me basically eating salary.

I meant first season in $, though his track record is something like 1-2 seasons in each of his worlds.  That said, I approved both trades
