I really think the issue is its this guys first season.  If Moy and Bot made the same deal, I dont know that it wouldve been made mention of in world chat, let alone vetoed

The guy has played almost 30 seasons.

No, but we eat our own young in Shtickless.  We know that in most cases the Shofer will continue on with the league.  It is those last 2-4 slots that we have constant turnover that we need to find long term owners for.   So in this veto I believe we are trying to protect the non-shofer from a trade rape that could cause damage to the frachise and make it less attractive to a potential replacement owner.  Especially since we know this guy has a history of sticking with teams for only as season or two.

In all honesty, I wouldn't have looked at it had briese not made a stink.  But I didn't veto because of briese.

this trade does not threaten the integrity of the league, nor is it a vet owner stealing from a noob owner. its two owners who traded probably 20+ offers back and forth before finding a deal. if we are going to veto deals where one team gets the better side in public opinion then probably 75% of deals need to be vetoed from here on out.

and Briese has become high and mighty on his success, but does take Peters too siriusly, that guy is one injury from his career being done.

I saw him say he was going to take Mike's top post ranking in either a post or in one of his HBD world chat blow-ups (which were discussed in HBD forums and hilarious by the way) right before he started posting 200 times a day.

The guy is the latest alias of a lunatic that has a history of this kind of stuff.
