Also, the HR draft class isn't terrible. Though I'm significantly slanted towards HS prospects.

There is a very strange player in there.

I still think it's a fair enough deal based on the Chavez decomposition and the fact he got three players out of it, each with their uses. Even if robusk has high standards, we can agree that probably 40% of the starters in the league aren't the kind of player he specifically is looking for. So if he thinks they fit his mold is moot, because it matters if they can have that impact for Honolulu.
It isn't a matter of them fitting my mold (although some decent lobbying).  It is a matter if they can be productive big league players.

I don't have a first round pick for the first time in forever and couldn't be bothered to rank more than 20 guys.

Also, I don't understand the nonsense that Chavez will be under an awful contract the next two years.  He hasn't dropped off too significantly even though pimp had a crappy training budget prior to this year....  he has a makeup of 95 and b0t will have a max training budget.  He will still be AS caliber for the next 2.5 seasons.

Which one?

It's not that big a deal, but I'd rather not draw any more attention to him.  Shouldn't have even mentioned it, although there's no chance he falls to me at 60-whatever anyway.

Anybody get NBA Jam yet?

His power numbers have already taken a dive, and even with a high training budget, at 35-36 he's going to take more big hits to his power - plus his DUR will continue to dive, impacting how much he can play at 100%. I don't think he's a total wasteland by the end of the deal (honestly, I missed the 95 makeup originally), but I don't think he's going to be worth what he's getting as a 1B/DH over the next two years of the deal.

It is next up on my GameFly queue...  I just have to return one of the following: NCAA or NBA 2K.

His Eye, vR, vL will be almost unchanged while contact suffers a little and power will drop into the mid to low 70's.  DUR is overrated.  He will be a solid contributor at those numbers at 36.

The only people paying attention already approved it...  but they should have seen that on their own.

I am not changing anything at this point.
