How good will the Clippers be next season when it looks like they have two top five picks? Between their own and the unprotected Timberwolves pick, they have ea good shot at coming out of the lottery 1-2.

That's already a good young nucleus. I guess a better pure PG would be nice. Kaman/Jordan at center isn't bad, but I guess there could be someone at the top of the draft to improve it.

But you have to think with two really high picks, they're bound to get significantly better.

Kaman seems pretty useless without a defensive stopper at the 4 and Dunleavy running the ball through him every play, but I still like him as the franchise center.  I think Griffin will eventually learn how to play defense and he won't be as much of a liability.

They need to use one of those #1s to bring in some veteran leadership at the point.  Somebody who can come in and take over like Alien Sam did.  Then win the lottery and take Perry Jones.  Then not do any dumb **** for a year.

Yeah **** it, they should get Rubio.
Maybe offer the Wolves the higher of the two draft picks and some other throw-in for the rights to Rubio. That should get it done. One of them will probably have a top three pick. Maybe throw in another upside player and the deal could get made.

Rubio and Griffin together would be just terrific.
