And congrats, Bobby Lee. Though it's probably about time to get a job making real money.
Dude, I actually took a pretty well paying-job...****** off a shitload of people in academia in the process.  Whatevs.  Feels good to not be living on a super-thin margin for the first time in forever.  And thanks.
Good job then. Wearing the corduroy jacket and being around coeds all day definitely has its place, but living on that salary sucks. My university job was probably the funnest I ever had, but the time came to do adult things like buy a house and start a 401k.

I like how ****** is redacted, but shitload goes through just fine.

Dude, you're historically ignorant.  If that $2 gives you even a marginally more tolerable home-life, I mean, doesn't it totally pay for itself ten times over? Do it right, and that's a $2 blow-job.  That's just good value.

Then there's that you might actually want to make your wife happy cause it's just a nice thing to do...
don't mind rlahann, he is just herzin' out because his wife gave him another child.
Funny...I actually thought about the Herz channeling when I wrote that.

Heh, I also thought whomever said it cost $20 a pop for flowers, is significantly overpaying.

That would be me that said it.

I find that apologizing cost less than both flowers and a card. I just have to apologize 30 times or so before being forgiven.

Yeah. If you know how to cut and arrange, you could use a cheap dozen and make it look good.
Maybe its a NY thing, but there are a bunch of shops that have flowers for like 8 bucks

not around where I work (Downtown Financial District) or live (Gold Coast/Streeterville) ... maybe in the less flashy neighberhoods I could get a deal like that.
