I dunno, Intolerable Cruelty is pretty painful. But yeah, their worst films are always when they're actually trying to be funny, as opposed to just letting the comedy happen.

Who was it who was pimping Black Swan?  I think that is playing at one of the theaters in town and it looks pretty solid.

If you made a Venn diagram of the Red Shoes, Polanski's Repulsion, Showgirls, the Wrestler and Fight Club, Black Swan is in the overlap of all five.

Yeah, I agree on the latter point.  Intolerable Cruelty had its moments.  I think I need to bump Blood Simple a little higher because it is certainly better than a couple there...  I haven't seen it in a really long time, but it is definitely better than IC at least.

Wasn't at least one of the Coen brothers involved in The Naked Man?  That movie had moments but it was pretty bad as well.

I think they had the initial story idea then gave it away to one of their buddies, or something like that.

I was going to take my wife to see that for her birthday yesterday but she ended up having to leave a day early to go see her folks in OH.  Next weekend, probably.

I pretty much locked up the championship in FF.  My kicker left, his D left, I am up by 20 and D's generally get negative points in our league.
