How much scheming is too much, in HBD? That Milwaukee team I'm facing has an awful left side of the infield. Should I gameplan on push/pull hitters to hit it that direction on purpose? His RF has a ****** arm, probably. It seems like too much work, but I have a deep bench and could try it.
I didn't become the shtickless world champion by subbing in push/pull hitters.

Not sure how it would work...  I would definitely try it though.

Anyone care to explain the season long overachieving of my $ team?

You became it by getting lucky and raping a few dudes.

The NL as a whole is having a down season. You pay enough attention to beat the teams you should beat and not have any disadvantageous match-ups. You have a better understanding of the ratings than other people... There's a decent list.

Like I said in the TC, your team really is pretty ****** by your standards. But if they play good defense and you don't allow many runs, you'll hopefully be able to lean on your few good players to knock in enough runs to win some games...

Who did I rape?  I don't think I have pulled that off in forever.  I am not the trade wizard I used to be.

I agree with most of that.  I don't think it is just the NL though.  Your team is solid but would not have performed this well in peak years in my opinion.  We have hit a storm of a lot of below average drafts (just an issue of chance), poor owners getting the limited talent and underdeveloping them and a lot of "superpowers" bottoming out at the same time...  plus a number of crappy owners having a bunch of talent at the ML level right now and not knowing how to use it.  That being said, a couple of really good owners have built up a nice pool of talented prospects and we will be on the uptick in the future.

I think it is easier to gimmick your way to wins right now because of all those things....

Milwaukee's infield (Range/Glove/Arm Strength/Arm Accuracy):

1B 51/3754/49 - plus this dude has a ****** bat, nowhere near good enough to start 162 games at first base...

2B 72/71/49/61 - has a high range LEFT HANDED THROWER guy in left that got spare work at this position too.

3B 62/68/70/67

SS 75/81/82/86

There are going to be holes in that infield, I might just go more towards contact than power against him. Ignore push/pull nonsense.

tisi and b0t have clear talent edges among the 4 teams left in the playoffs.  Should be those two in the WS.

Oh yeah... he is an idiot.  Only moy would win so infrequently and somehow still think he can brag about it.
