I pay too much consideration to my pinch-hitting hierarchy. Only reason I'm slightly annoyed my CF defensive replacement with a **** bat was brought in so early in a RISP position when I had much better hitters who could have driven a run in.

I have almost completely neglected HBD for like 4 or 5 weeks, and will probably keep doing so unless I find a way to quit this dumb job.  Was supposed to FA it up a little in HR, and never got around to it.  The Diary should lose 100.

Now that the trade's gone through, what do you have Clarke projected as? I like that the trade showed he's already gone up 2 points in CTL, vL, and vR, and a point on all of his pitches this season.

Clarke's projections were concerning for me, mostly because I wasn't sure just how much a DITR can improve to reach those numbers:

Wow. Yeah, I don't think he'll ever get anywhere near that good, but with that crazy year he had last year and the fact that it looks like he's still starting off quickly this year, he might wind up being better than I was expecting in taking the deal. Never going to be able to throw a lot of innings, however.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how he develops. If he can have another big development year this year, I'll like that deal a lot more.

I figure I'll at the very least get a couple of picks back for Belliard. And he should mean the difference in more games this season than Morris would have.
