I will always be lurking 10AM - 2PM or so. I'll post more after that if there's company.

So there is conversation to be had.

I know Fregoe isn't State Farm, but I'd like to see the commercial where someone does that "Like a good neighbor" jingle and then he shows up.

Like a good neighbor, Fregoe is there... with a 60 IQ... and an overactive space bar... and diet pills.

Fregoe has a more popular spacebar than Alderaan.

I need to start paying more attention my minor leagues in HBD.   I have been lazy about that.   putting guys in AAA right away and having my AA and lower for guys who will never make the Majors.    gonna start trying to get eveyone at least some time at each level.

whats the best way to progress a player through the majors?

I tend to try a season with each, depending on age. I put all draft picks in rookie. I'll promote college players to HiA and HS to LoA after their first season. From there I'll promote the better guys up a level each season. I'll rush some guys if they have a high make-up and are improving well. But it usually gets them in the majors at about the right time.

One thing to be wary of is patience. A low-patience player won't take to being at the same level consecutive years. They'll be the ones to retire or just stagnate and not improve.

yeah this right about what I was thinking of doing....   I have been moving guys to the majors way to early

i scored 1320 on my sat's *****.  I know thats not great but considering I took them wearing my baseball uniform and had to run from the testing room to the field to be there on time I was happy.

and thats before the made the scoring change and 1320 was pretty decent.  it might still be I am not sure.  I just heard that they made a change to the scoring making the avg score higher
