On a side note, I highly encourage you guys to go to http://www.marrow.org and sign up for the bone marrow registry. They'll send you a kit in the mail where you take a cheek swab and send it back. They'll contact you down the line if you are a match to donate bone marrow to someone who needs it.

The odds of being a match aren't that high, because the odds of finding a match aren't that high. But if you sign up for the bone marrow registry you can claim moral superiority because you're going to be theoretically helping out cancer kids.

Donating marrow isn't as invasive a surgery as you'd expect. Supposedly it's done as an out-patient surgery and the worst you feel is flu-like symptoms for a day or two.

But it turns out access to the afterlife is entirely based on how much of your own bone marrow you've maintained.

As I am in the Army Reserve, it looks like I have to do it through other means.

I'm just going to start doing GOB Bluth style magic shows at children's hospitals, but keep all of my innards.  There are different ways to give.
