I'm sure you'll be surprised to find out that I don't value the opinions of morons.  You qualify.

No one cares what a confirmed idiot thinks.

I suppose, at your company picnic, that it's OK to offer everyone but the black man some watermelon.   Because that's RACIST!!!!

Sometimes, you're just offering people watermelon.
Sometimes, you're just asking for identification.

Adam Serwer: What America Means When It Asks For Your Papers
You make it seem so simple. A black man was treated like a slave in 1890, so Obama is right!

America has changed. Presidents get treated poorly. Started with Nixon. Even before Watergate Nixon was given a rough time. Ford was a klutz, Carter was a rube, Reagan was senile, Bush was a wimp, Clinton was a sex fiend, Bush was an idiot and Obama is a Kenyan.

As was said there may be some connection between racism and the claims of Birthers, that does not make the people who support the claims Racist. And it doesnt make someone who hears a story and believes it a racist.

How many people believe that we never went to the moon, that 9/11 was fake, that Elvis is alive, Bruce Lee was killed by the government because his kung fu was too powerful and Tupac was assasinated.

Calling people who believe these things crazy is ok.

Claiming that half the country is Racist against a black President is garbage!

swamp, this has nothing to do with Obama being "right".

Until you understand that you are the only person on this forum who sees everything in terms of their teams winning and losing, you will have little to nothing of substance to contribute.

You may not believe it but this has nothing to do with politics.

I am genuinely ****** off about this.

When I am called a Racist it drives me nuts.

When I am listening to left wing talk on the way home from work (Balance) and I hear Ed Schultz telling me that I am a Racist it really makes me angry.

I know Tea Party people. We are not racists and for the most part go out of our way to support diversity.

I am driving down the road flaming crazy angry and I come here and get the same crap from you.

You give too much power to idiots.  Don't let idiots make you angry.

I do not think you're racist, and I'm pretty sure I never said you were racist. If I said that anywhere, find the post and I will apologize for it. Now I did say you were providing cover for racists when you totally denied that birtherism was racist, but you've since acknowledged that it is at least to some degree racist so I no longer consider that true.

No one here is talking about the Tea Party being racist either. No one here gives a damn what an egotistical idiot like Ed Schultz has to say. Listening to "both sides" of talk radio does not provide you with "balance", as I've tried to tell you - it just unbalances you in different directions. Talk radio is not designed to inform you, either of facts or of a representative sample of political opinion. It is designed to get you riled up. Period. They are shock jocks, only their vehicle is politics instead of frat boy humor (although a lot of them try to do both)

Also, I still don't see what any of that has to do with Obama being "right". This thread has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama's policies.

Look - I've put aside aside the WMRDs (weapons of mass rhetorical destruction) here and I'm talking to you like a real person. Schultz, Limbaugh, all of them - all they care about is whether you keep listening or not. If they can do that by getting you angry, that's a win for them. They don't want your brain or your heart, they want your ears. That's it.

It's the 21st century, swamp. Radio, in this country at least, is very nearly obsolete technology. Play some music while you're driving and get your political info from the internet when you get home. If you want to read a blog or listen to a podcast or watch a Youtube clip that gets you riled up, at least you won't be risking your life behind the wheel doing it.
