2 I never said that. Can 2 people discussing race bring up the issue of cultural food? Is this an ok topic for a philosophical debate? I live in the detroit area and have access to some very white neighberhoods and some very black neighberhoods. Can I ask questions about differences? Or is the black race special in that becuase of their past we should never discuss these issues?

2 is the actual defining moment.

Can 2 people have a discussion about race. Is fried chicken actually an offensive food? Is hating "Rap Music" racially motivated? Would hating country be considered "Racial". Is being scared of a group of black teens in street clothes based on race?

If we cannot discuss what makes us who we are and get to the bottom of racism without everyone going nuts how are we going to solve the problem.
