President Obama and the Election of 2012 Topic

And I'm not fighting Swamp's battles.  I sure as heck am not going to get in the middle of whatever he and anton fight about personally.  But I will jump into issues now and then.  That's what these boards are for...

Oooohhh, a talking point.  Good one.

You got that right. True capitalism requires competition and we got rid of that decades ago.

Something you should then be happy about then since it's not viable anyway right?

Looks like you really want to fight. You know what would make me happy? If you choked on your dinner tonight and no one was around to help.

Not really sure where you got that from.

Me:
I'm genuinely curious.  That's it.  You've asserted that capitalism "is no longer a viable economic system",  but won't talk about why you think that.

Do I lean to the right?  Of course.  You consider me a lost cause and you don't even know me.  If you are correct about which is the better system and why, I would think you would want persuade others, but if you choose not to, no big deal.  I'll probably still ask why whenever I see an assertion made.  In any case, what I generally see is that people are quick to toss around assertions without backup and badmouth anyone who doesn't agree with them.  If you've made your case in another thread, link it.  I'd be interested.

Sorry to disappoint you.  I'm still here.  But since dysphagia is something I do happen to deal with on a regular basis, you may someday get your wish and be happy.

That is a lie. We have more competition today than ever.

In 1957 if you wanted to watch a movie you went to a local theater with one picture showing.

Today you have Cable TV, Satelitte, internet, netflix, blockbuster, and multiple theaters with multiple screens and a theater that runs older movies for a dollar.

Soooo, since you have dysphagia I assume we will not be seeing you in the Nathan's hot dog eating contest in the near future?

You are correct, but dysphagia is very low on the list of why not.

Most owned by the same or related corporation. What is it about the concept of competition you do not understand swamp?

A parrot can mimic a talking point.   If you want to be compared to a parrot, it's your call.

It is really getting repetitive and boring here.
