In a nation of over 300 million people and over 200 million adults, yes, 3 million is basically nothing. Percentage-wise, more people voted for third party candidates in 2008 than listen to Stephanie Miller.

And how many people can pick Michael Savage out of a lineup, and he gets in trouble all the time!

I couldn't pick either of them out of a lineup.  I did find out through a google search though, that she does a program on the local progressive AM station in Seattle.  Who'd of thunk it.

She is so popular in detroit they run her live in the morning and rerun her again at night.

And what about when I was outraged that Gore Vidal and Joy Behar laughed about it being too late to assasinate Bush.

The left on these boards claimed that they were nobodies.

Joy Behar is on 2 Talk shows....2!!! How many people can say that. And Gore Vidal is an iconic figure!

It seems to me every Con should be blasted for any simple remark but every liberal should be ignored when they call for a presidential assasination!

The reason that Cons do better than liberals on AM talk radio is the audience is mostly cons. Simple.

I bet if you polled people who worked in Broadway musicals they would be anti-Rush.

So as we move to radio from space why is AM radio pundits discussed so much like they have real power?

Hmmmmm....good question.  Why would anyone care what Bono, Susan Sarandon or Alec Baldwin thinks about politics?    I don't have the answer but they do.
