Savage apologized just a few hours after the show. Maybe if the people you defend had the good sense and moral fiber to admit their idiocy that quickly and easily, they too wouldn't be subject to as much scrutiny.

That, by the way, is called "being held to the same standard". Say something stupid and fess up to it it immediately? You get a pass. Say something stupid and dig in your heels? You are begging for a media frenzy.
Really. So bolling didnt apologize for the 40 comment?

Please link to said apology, because I've never seen it. I've seen his apology for the "White Hizzouse" bit, but not for his "chugging 40s" Tweet.

And again, even if he did apologize for it and I missed it, it came after days if not weeks of digging in his heels and defending his original statement, and not a few hours later.

Savage said something idiotic, and admitted it almost before he left the studio. Bolling said something idiotic, and kept right on acting like an idiot about it. One acted like an adult after their mistake, and one didn't. If there's any double standard there it's yours, for continuing to excuse the behavior of the latter.

You are correct on that one. He apologized for the other remark. He explained the 40 ounce, just as I did, It wasnt racist and it was irelevant.

So you can compare something so trivial as 40 ounce with all Republicans dead?

The double standard is liberals get to apologize and Conservatives dont.

Ask Imus if an apology will keep you from getting fired?

Anton has nothing here. His guys are calling for murders and getting away with it and Conservatives are making off the cuff jokes and getting blasted.

You need to find some way to ignore the issue.

This is not one incident. This is over and over again.

The comedians on TV certainly don;t want the consevatives dead. They would have to fold up shop. I doubt many people would want you dead either swamp. After all, that would mean we wouldn't have good ole swamp to kick around anymore!

Again you are overstating the original comment, he said Republicans in Congress, what is that 250-300? 

And yes, I wish none of those ******* Republicans were alive, so they would stop ******* up our economy.  All Republicans in every state house, local municipalities even dog catchers - they're all a blight on this country.  There was one great Republican, Abraham Lincoln, but some ******* Southern dickweed murdered him.  So a big **** you to every Republican in this country.  Except the black ones - I don't want to be accused of making a racial slur.

1 He didnt say Republicans in Congress. Maher was talking about all Republicans and Savage said "I wish they were all fuc&ing dead".

2 Another from the left stands up and says what they mean. I think this is what savage believes. I think he apologized because it sounded so ugly. I think he wants all Republicans in office to die.

So I guess that the Left is no longer retreating, they are reloading.
