President Obama and the Election of 2012 Topic

Try again. It's really not that hard. The question is:

Why did I place statement #2 closer to #3 than to #1?
7/30/2011 5:31 PM
Let's try this another way:

1) "I hate black people."

2) "I hate the rich"

3) "I hate the Yankees."

For each of these statements, what would you estimate as the probablity that the statement is literally true for the speaker?

the yankees wear 'white' unis ?

And let's try another way:

Please tell me the total number of hate crimes against both the rich and the Yankees.

They are rich, but that's not quite it.

Wow.... For the fourth time anton can't simply answer the question posed. now the technicality is the person. Insert any rich, black man for Herman Cain.

Hating on chad ochocinco cause he's black or hating on chad ochocinco cause he's rich. Is there a difference?

Fine, provide me with an example of someone hating on Ochocinco because he's rich then.

Does that help me guess at how you define "hating on"? No, not really.

When you grow a set and decide to stand by your own statement, let me know.
When you decide to quit being a raging ***** and explain how hating people from a specific social standing is different than hating people for skin color, YOU get back to me.  Until then, cower in your ***** corner and try to figure out how to twist this into some liberal flag waving.
I'm not the one desperately doing the Savion Glover impression, and trying to weasel out of my own statement.

You said "Hating on a specific class is no different than hating on a skin color." I asked you to define 'hating on' and explain exactly what you meant. You've spent three pages since squirming like a kid whose older brother picked them up by the scruff of their neck, doing everything you can to avoid answering a simple question.

That's not me being a *****, that's you being a coward.

If that's how you ranked them, #3 should probably be #1.

What does "hating on the rich" even look like?  Is it just the non-rich suggesting (futilely, of course) that they should pay more in taxes?  Man, that's gotta smart.

That's what makes this whole discussion so silly. Who actually hates the rich as a class? I don't mean hating individual rich people for their specific actions. Is this the French Revolution? Are unsuspecting debutantes being marched off to meet Madame Guillotine? In the words of the aforementioned Ochocinco, child please!

On the one hand you have real hate, the kind that results in lynchings, on the other you have maybe jealousy, resentment, or schadenfreude. Basically, it's player hate. But Ice-T can explain it better than I can.

There is a reason I placed statement #2 closer to #3 than to #1. Let's see if Mikey can figure it out.
I know it's hard but try to keep up.

1.  I hate Herman Cain because he's black.
2.  I hate Paris Hilton because she's rich.
3.  I hate the Yankess because they're good.

You tell me the difference between 1 and 2.   I just threw 3 in there so you could follow along.
Since you put Paris Hilton at #2 and the Skanks at #3 I know the answer. #2 and #3 are both pussys!

1 So you think that saying Obama chugged a 40 led to hate crimes?

2 They wouldnt consider someone attacking a rich person a hate crime.

1 So you think that saying Obama chugged a 40 led to hate crimes?

No. Why would you say something so ridiculous?

2 They wouldnt consider someone attacking a rich person a hate crime.

They would if they were being attacked simply because the attacker literally hated rich people, and if such attacks were relatively frequent. But the reality is otherwise, which is what makes this whole discussion so silly.

1 We were discussing 2 comments and you produced hate crime statistics. I was wondering what the point was.

2 Income isnt a protected class. No hate crime

3 What makes your point silly is we were not discussing crime, we were discussing if statements should be perceived as offensive and if both sides are treated fairly. If a Fox News anchor beats up a few black people while claiming the white race is superior I will not defend him. Of course that has NOTHING to do with our conversation.
