By the way, the article didn't say she was kidding -- the words "Was she kidding?" are right in the headline. 

It was Bachmann's spokeswoman who said she was joking.

Having a crappy sense of humor isn't a reason to demonize her.

She would be a worse Prez than Obama but this is a non-story.   Even The Maneater didn't report it.

Despite being a "regular" viewer, I didn't see it yesterday.    But, anyway, it's on FOX.   You'd know, if you owned a TV, that they don't cover negative stories on Repubs.

I don't think she was joking, but if she was, what exactly is the joke?  People lost their lives in this hurricane -- does she find it funny to say God killed them to make a point about government spending?

When you are around people that think like you sometimes you will in essence tell an inside joke.

I was talking a Conservative activists friend of mine who happens to be black. He was telling me about a speech he gave at a Tea Party meeting.

I asked him "So wait, they are not all racists"?

We both laughed. Only funny if both sides know why.

Hitler responds, "I hope it isnt causing them any pain". They laugh.

It is true. Of course living in detroit with a huge African American population you see black people in all aspects of your life. Someone in North Dakota might have a reason to have few black friends.

And as I look at it that joke is a little clumsy. By the time the Nazis were using gas on the Jews the Reichstag wasnt being used. Also the Reichstag is a building and although it could refer to the German Parliment it wasnt common.

I made my little Hitler Reference with the sole purpose of you popping your head out. I guess that means 6 more weeks of Obamacare!
