What Is A "Fair Share" When It Comes To Taxes? Topic

I think we should eliminate all "Hot lunch" programs that have now become "breakfast, lunch and dinner" programs.

These are a classic example of left wing money wasters that you cannot oppose or the media says you want to starve children.

Music may or may not be good.

When I was in school I took a class that paired us off in "Marriages" and we had to raise an egg.

What is that all about?

So what is your solution when there are kids that aren't eating.
1. Take the kids away from the parents? Then who is paying for them to eat?
2.Kids just don't eat?
Pick one give me your solution!

Dont run it through the schools. If there is actually a poverty stricken family they should receive the ability to buy food, and make their kid a lunch.

Dont just have a huge program because a handful of families need aid.

School calendars in the United States have about 178 instructional days. Schools in Japan average about 231 instructional days. I have no idea what the per pupil spending is in Japan but as I pointed out, there are non-classroom costs that factor into that.

I guess they don't build as many new schools because urban sprawl isn't nearly as big of an issue over there as it is in North America.

I'm referring to parents who are not engaged in their child's education or do not demand accountability from the children when they bring home a poor report card.

So instead of giving it to the schools you are going to have welfare give it to them to give to the schools? If so, I think they would be worried that they would spend the money on other things.I also think there is a hell of a lot more than a handful that need the help.

What I dont want is a huge government program where every kid gets some form of subsidized meal.

If some families are having a problem help them. Dont create a massive program.

So then you are going to change the standards so that fewer kids can receive a meal?
