But you've already claimed that big business has bought government.     Do you really believe the bought and paid for gov't is acting in your best interest?

Not really, but the gov can't overtly do everything against us though right? They do have to get voted in... Unless your George W that is...

If you believe that business owns government, then surely you know that government does just enough to put up a front so you believe they're acting in your best interests.

Personally, I don't think any politician is looking out of YOU.   He's feeding one of three things.  1.  His bank account   2.  His ego   3.  His thirst for power.

So you actually believe that the only person that could ever become a politician is evil and only out for themselves?

I have found most of the people that are in Government are Leslie Nope from Parks and Recreation. They may be fanatics, but they always believe they are acting in the common good!
