It's more about what they are against than what they are for.  That's where the common ground is.

I find it funny that the same people screaming about how the "liberal mainstream media" filters what you see and hear about conservatives/Republican Party/Tea Partiers are very suddenly willing to accept whatever the same "liberal mainstream media" is putting forth about the Occupy Wall Street people and their movement.

And the occupiers are sheep?

Wake up people.
I have said repeatedly how sickening the distortion of ideas is propagated by all the media outlets.

However, isn't equally funny that the same left wingers who deny the liberal media bias embrace the idea when it suits their needs.

Wiener just backs the anti-semites.  Those Jew-bankers need to give it back to us or we should take it from them.

For godssake.   If you hate black people, you are probably a Tea Party supporter.  If you're an out of work hippie, you're probably a OWS person.  But that does not mean that everyone in the Tea Party is racist and everyone who supports OWS is a hippie.  Try to focus on the god damn message instead of the lunatic fringe that get the media attention in attempt to distract you.

And, just so we're clear, polls are useless because they're biased.     Someone has to be asking the questions.   If they want to make the OWS look stupid, they hit the fringe people, jester hat guy, stoned college kid in hemp sandals, etc, etc.    If they want to make the OWS look legit, business suit guy gets polled.

Right.  And the people who are unemployed and underemployed in this economy have only themselves to blame.  Saying it might be related to economic policies/Wall Street corruption is just whining.  Pull up your bootsraps, *******, like old Works Smart Not Hard!

What is their "solution"?

The reason I started the thread is because I DO agree with some of the ideas coming from the more serious and more well thought out aspects of their outrage.

But the tea-party had one central driving message Taxes Enough Already.

They have concrete ideas. Less taxes and FAR less spending.

I am very open minded, and although there are aspects of the occupy movement that makes sense, I am still at a loss as to what their central message really is. Besides the fringe which screams "capitalism is bad" and seem to want a socialistic type of redistribution of wealth. Which I certainly can not support.

...and this is why Cain leads the polls by a large amount with Tea Party members.

As an American, I'm much more impressed by the Occupiers than the racist Tea-Baggers
Can you be more specific and less inflammatory in your remarks?

What is it about the occupiers that impresses you, besides the fact that they aren't "racist tea-baggers"?

Don't be naive`. They just SAY they support Cain, so their racism will be less obvious.

I guess I should have brought some flamethrowers to the Tea Party rally I went to.  Then I could have flamed up every speaker, except the one white American male doctor that was speaking.    As you said above,

Taxed
Enough
Already.

There is no room for racism in there.  It is about the money.  If there was a compentent president in the last decade, the Tea Party would never exist.

Agree.

Can't seem to find a central message. Bout the best I can get is that the OWS people are mad at the banks because they took government bailout money and the rest of the USA is mad at the government cause they gave the banks bailout money. Isn't this one and the same issue - government bailouts? Everything else I hear out of OWS is moronic gibberish... and I mean moronic.
