I thought I showed a fair amount of restraint.
Look you're going to have to accept the fact that Bush did damage to our economy, involved us in two illegal wars and started chipping away at our freedoms. Just because he is out of office does not let him off the hook.
Bush is responsible and history will view it as such - no matter how much you want to pawn it all off on Obama. Obama has not lived up to his promises and the economy has not improved; he'll have to face the American people and ask to continue for another four years. If he fails on another term, he will get as much blame as Bush receives.
It's dishonest that you equate pointing out Bush's failures as acceptance of Obama's. Somehow I get the feeling that if the supporters of the next President blame Obama for the mess, you won't give Obama the pass that you are giving Bush.
1 Bush didnt hurt the economy. He saved the economy after 9/11. The crash was no more his fault than it was the fault of the Democratic Congress. The wars were not illegal. He went through the correct process. Was Korea, Vietnam and the 1st Gulf wars illegal? Of course not.
2 I believe that Bush made some errors, but for the most part did the right thing. I think Obama has been a dismal failure as a president.
3 There has to be some standard of measure. When you criticize Bush and we compare him to other presidents your response cannot be "Well I think all the Presidents sucked".
