How do I maximize use of my better RPs?

Do I put all my solid RPs as setup A, or is setup A like a 7th inning reliever, setup B like a 8th inning reliever?

Setup A's would be your primary relievers.

Setup B's would be your secondary relievers.  Generally, SIMMY would only go to your SuB's if none of your SuA's were available.

I think it depends on the score. In a blowout, simmy will put in Setup Bs before Setup As.

Once you define A or B roles, you can assign innings available at the Edit Player Settings screen.

I have three set up A's. and one of them was brought in the 7th, then they brought in a set up B. all of my relievers were at 100%

Early in the game-- 4th inning for sure, maybe 5th-- simmy will go to SuB before SuA if you don't have an LR available.

What was the inning, what was the score, what are your reliever's settings?

1-0, into the 9th. My set up A was already 2 innings in. And he stayed in the game in the 9th. Lets up 2 runs. Not sure why it didnt go to the closer, he pitched the game before but was still at 100. So I get why the B would go in, cause we went down 2-1? but why wouldnt my closer go in the 9th, or at least another set up A?
