Dilenma at First Base Topic

I just took over a team and am struggling on deciding who to start at First base.  On paper option 2 definately has the better bat but Option 1 put together an outstanding year last season and had a good one before that.  Option 1 is also a superior fielder but it is at 1B so I am not sure.  At the moment I'm leaning toward giving player #1 150 AB to begin the season to see if his bat shows up and if it doesn't going to Option 2.

Looking for others thoughts here.

The guy who can field is vastly superior against LHP.  I don't love either of them against RHP but the guy who can field will at least not cost you a ton of infield errors and (-) plays.

Bonifacio at first vs lefty, try to sign a cheap FA for righty lineup.  Put Gray in RF.

Wouldn't his defense hurt much more in RF than at 1B though?

Gray in RF.  He'll be fine.  Bonifacio isn't very good.  Find a platoon guy for him.

Actually, Gray shoud be a vL platoon, too.  He'll rip.  68 Durability limits him some.
