What have people observed with the changes in advanced scouting now that it's been a few months since that update /change

The scouting changes were to draft and IFA scouting.  I believe advanced scouting remained unchanged.

The Advanced scouting is a more accurate rating.  I tried linking, but wasn't working.  If you go to Critical News/HBD Updates, scroll down to July 28th, it's right there.

Not to nit-pick, but that's a bit misleading.  The draft and IFA scouting ratings are now less accurate than they were before.  The advanced scouting ratings are the same as they were before.  But relative to draft and IFA, as an example, a $16M AS budget will be more accurate than a $16M IFA budget.  But not more accurate than it was previously.

From Critical News on July 28th:  

In the new system, the accuracy of the high school, college and international scouting departments is now different and less accurate than the advanced scouting department. And because current ratings are no longer visible for prospects, scouts can now under project a prospect's ratings. This means the shift in projected ratings once a player enters your advanced scouting department can be potentially larger in the past.

For myself, in my budgeting, I've been allocating more to Adv Scouting, and getting away from Int.  Not sure how high I'll go with it, but it'll be interesting to see if I do bring it up to $16M+ how the variations are.

I realize this is just semantics, but scouts can also over project a prospect's ratings.  I'd venture that with cheap scouting, you're more likely to see a turd player made to look like a potential stud than vice versa.

All in all, I feel like the intent of the changes was met... you have to pay up for your scouting (in any category) to be what you feel is reliable.
