Looks like the strategy now (for some anyways, me included) is pick weather you like college or HS more, pump $20 mill into it and only draft guys from that side of things. Some years, you'll get gold for 3 rounds, some years you'll end up with dirt in the top 15. It's interesting.
That being said, it's all the more reason why I wish, in the first year of taking over a team, you could max out college and or HS to $20 million. Rather then having to punt your first pick with said team.
With my new St. Louis team that I took over I have 4 picks in the top 100. I can punt the 5th overall for next year but not the two supplemental picks. If I had HS or College or both at $20 I could rebuild this team real fast.
