I often pay attention to the notes that other owners leave on players to get a feel for how they look at the game. Sometimes these notes are bizarre. Then there's this that I found attached to a Rule 5 guy I just drafted...

That's actually a bug. Notes are supposed to be deleted when a player changes teams, via trade, free agency or the waiver wire. Apparently, WIS forgot to include the "note deletion" logic in the R5 draft process. Or maybe they intentionally didn't, because there's always a chance that a drafted R5 player can be returned to his original team.

Or they have screwed it up altogether. I just signed a FA that had a note attached.

This is clearly a bug. I doubt the fishing is very good in Harker Heights.

My bad.

I could have sworn that I remember seeing something from WIS that indicated that notes were supposed to clear when a player left your team, but now cannot find anything anywhere that supports that, with in previous update release notes or in developer chats.

You might be thinking of the colored dots. There was a bug with those for a short time.

No. My thoughts about the notes way predated the introduction of the colored dots. But the logic around clearing the colored dots should also be applied to the player notes.

This is true. I took over a team that had copious notes on almost every player.

Not sure which forum i should put this post in but i was wanting to start a franchise with the ballpark stats for old detroit tiger stadium and from what i have seen wis doesnt have any city with a stadium with those particular statistics
