Signed this guy from Tryout Camp just to be a warm body as roster filler: Ken Ramirez

In his defense, that's pretty good fielding for a tryout player.

I wish I could find the guy but in Riley we had a guy with health of 1. He had been on free agency without anyone signing him for 10 seasons. Damag, if you're reading this, do you remember who the player was?

No, I think Pittsburgh signed him but then left him off the 40 (of course) and he retired, or something like that...

Low health does not necessary make one a bad player. The infamous Bill Hall had a HOF career in Coop, while topping out with a health rating of 5.

Jesus! How did he survive more then 30 games every season?

Hwoof. Maybe if he gets a DITR bump you'll be able to tell he's a position player and not an equally horrible pitcher.

Duct tape and Super Glue.

He'd actually be a better reliever....

That really is pretty amazing. I would never even have considered signing that guy. I may have to adjust my thinking.

I basically don't look at the health of corners and OFs. C and MI it's just s tiebreaker. Pitchers I actually use it.

Why MI? They seem to have a somewhat higher incidence of catastrophic injury than other position players.
