Just curious if anyone has had success re-signing their own players who won't negotiate a deal, and insist on going into their fa year. I know from experience that you get the chance to re-sign him in the offseason of his free agent year, typically with a note that says no matter what, they are fileing.
In other words, does 5 mil over the price work? does bonus money work? i have two key guys who are saying this, and they are both free agents next eyar in one of my leagues. if i knew i could get them by meeting their price and throwing a 5 mil bonus at them, at least i could plan. or if i knew to beat their demands by 3 mil per year, etc.....
