33 Openings in 6 Public Worlds. Topic

Currently 33 openings in 6 public worlds (not to mention unknown openings in private worlds).

So has the existence of 7 new worlds, currently in only their 1st or 2nd season, helped to create this problem?

Two of the worlds in their 2nd season required 9 new owners between S1 and S2. Didn't they all have to commit to 3 seasons or something like that?

I think the requirements is pretty much ignored. One person told me he was leaving the world I was commish because he was starting in one of the new worlds and he had too many teams.

It goes in cycles, there will be a time in the future where there will be 0 openings, its just the way it is. Don't make a big deal out of it yet.

12 worlds have turned over in the last 7 days. The 6 worlds on the public list will probably all fill up in the next 2 weeks.

I am in one of the new worlds (Josh Gibson) and we have 30 of 32 returning. 20 something have already paid, including the entire NL..

mjdato is correct, not all new worlds are created equally,  In Billy Beane, we had 1 or 2 openings (can't remember exactly) that were filled before the end of WS.  We rolled and were approved in less than an hour.

Often the problem with filling your world is internal.    As I said, worlds are filling.  Maybe not your world but others are.    Look in the mirror.

I think there are some pretty F'd up worlds that have become so unbalanced that only a newbie would join.

While the new owners would most likely have ended up in other worlds (with varying results, of course), there's no guarantee that any of the veteran owners would have joined other, existing worlds. But I guess at least some of them might have stayed on with worlds they ended up dropping, but maybe they would have dropped out anyway.

Either way, it'd probably be a good idea if people didn't start up any new worlds just for the sake of doing it.

One of the stipulations for joining the new worlds was that you couldnt drop an existing team. You should maybe call these people out in the forums if they went ahead and did it anyway.
