What is your experience with the chances of a guy signing if it says " Undecided. He is also being scouted to play professional football."

Better than that.   But I don't draft a whole lot of those guys so it's a real small sample size.

Almost every time I've seen one of these guys (probably 10-15 times, most in the later rounds), they will say they're thinking about it, come back a week later demanding more money, then sign.

For the most part they will sign but it will cost you more than the slot signing bonus.

I've drafted two of those. One because he was talented with the 3rd pick, and one in the back half of the first round hoping he wouldn't sign so I would get a comp pick (it was a real weak draft). Both players waited about 5 real life days, then signed for the original asking price.

So there is my experience.

I will probably never highly rank a guy considering football again. I've lost the only 3 players I've ever tried to sign looking at football careers. I'm sure this is all about the sample size but I dont think Ill take the risk again.
