jrcpga has made a ton of $ by targeting all the new owners in a public world and offering three guys with decent looking overall ratings for 1 stud. [URL=http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=2711733]Michael Sparks[/URL] is a nice example. Acquired for 3 ok guys all reaching the end of their arb years, Sparks spent 5 seasons marinating in the minors despite being one of the top 10 players in entire world. He's now primed for 4-6 season in Boston, until he hits arb when jrcpga will find another brand-new sucker to take him in trade in exchange for the previous year's #1 overall pick. 

So the moral of the story is..... Clarkson wouldnt be a good world to join???

I hate to say it but guys like this will never even try to join a solid private world.  Like a parasite, they would die without a host and their hosts are public worlds.   A solid private world simply wouldn't allow that type of behavior to carry on for an extended period of time.

Seriously.. Has there been 9-10 new owners each season?  Thats either 9-10 alias's / newbies that will be turned off from HBD

Of course, it should be noted that soxfan121 swooped in and snatched up bornlosers' super team.  Not sure he's the best spokesman for "fair play".

I'm in Clarkson and I've been one of the few to put in some work to try and clean it up and make it respectable.  We've been steadily pulling in better owners and soxfan has been a big help, along with pstrnutbag44.  I put a lot of work in the blog (up until recently where I've become to busy), to help change the culture.  Season 16 was a great ride for Clarkson (read about the whole thing in the Chronicle). 

It is getting tiresome though to fight the fight. 

Seriously.. There has to have been more funny business in the world then just jrcpga.. You have 3-4 teams that are super stacked and will not be in decline anytime soon. How fun can it be for the 10-15 people who just shell out cash on teams that will never win.

You only need 10 to put a stop to it.

There certainly was.  One guy named tdiddy3 was the worst and he used to own soxfans team until one day he just walked away.  He was actually the worst.   It was the Salem franchise and he completely decimated the team that I took over.  Those are the main two culprits.   Soxfan was actually the second guy to take over the team after tdiddy left. 

Retention of new owners is always the problem, but it's getting better.  The jrcpga trade attempts are being quelled. 

I dont feel there is anyone who can speak about this better than I.  And I will tell you why.  Not only have I been in Clarkson since season 1, 17 seasons, but I'm in THE SAME DIVISION as jrcpga.

Now I think my record and my experience will tell you that I am a pretty good player.  (If anyone just beemed down from jupiter Im Primetime17 and have about 200 seasons under my belt, but I lost my forum rights).That being said I have never won the division and finished 2nd to him probably about 15 times.

Now granted the fact that I have about 20 teams means I don't pay close attention to every move and every trade in every world I am in but I just don't see what he has done that is wrong.  I even came on this forum one time and proclaimed him the best HBD player of all.

He makes good trades and has an excellent game plan.  I do admit I may have missed the fact that many of the trades were with noobs but just how many were with noobs? 50%?  90%?  Somebody tell me.

Also I do look over the actual trades pretty close (and not whos trading, if its a noob or not), and I do veto any I think are out of wack, but I can only remember vetoing 1 or 2 tops, so they couldn't be that bad.

And lastly ... we have the veto.  If he was raping noobs, we are all to blame, but I just don't see it.

Im not going to debate this, its just my observation.  You can ask soxfan and anyone else in Clarkson, I have NEVER spoken out a word about this on our World chat.  Believe it or not I am mostly very silent in my HBD worlds, as opposed to the big mouth I am on the forums.

PS and for the record tdiddy was the biggest ahole and cheat I ever saw.  Nobody was more vocal against him then me.  Don't understand how I saw that from day one but was completly fooled by jrcpga for 17 seasons.

PSS Whatever happens Im leaving Clarkson after this season.  Too much drama, needed or not.

I can back PT's claim there. He is not a vocal *** at all in this world. Minds his own and plays a good game. It'll suck to see him go.

I'm in Clarkson and this league needs to be put out of its misery.  no one will compete in his divison for the next 10 - 12 seasons assuming it is stopped no and no more trades are made.  3 WS titles, 16 straight divison titles and nothing fishy has gone on here? I would welcome all of you when your bored to take a look at the trade history and make your own educated opinion.
