I'm in Clarkson and this league needs to be put out of its misery. no one will compete in his divison for the next 10 - 12 seasons assuming it is stopped no and no more trades are made. 3 WS titles, 16 straight divison titles and nothing fishy has gone on here? I would welcome all of you when your bored to take a look at the trade history and make your own educated opinion.
Just because someone has won 3 WS and 16 straight division titles does not make someone guilty of cheating....Maybe I am reading what you said wrong, but you are basically accusing everyone who has had long term success in any sim game of being cheaters.
I'm not going to look at the trade history because I really don't care to. But I did browse through the world chat some, and found it amusing that so many people were up in arms about wanting to force the guy out, even talking about petitioning ADMIN to forcibly remove him.
As far as I can tell:
a) It's a public world, he has every right to be there
b) He has not broken any WIS TOS rules
c) If he has in fact been performing serial trade-rapes, shame on the rest of the world for not stopping him with vetos
The only real solution is for the people who don't like what he's doing is to either (a) use their vetoes, or (b) leave that world and find another.
If everybody who gives a crap leaves, then Yertle the Turtle can stay behind as the King of the Pond.
The veto has been used 5 times this season and 4 times last season (the entirety of my tenure in the world).
I was asked to take over one of the other problem franchises more than halfway through S15; some of the owners who didn't realize the world history had figured out what was going on but did not have enough interested, committed owners to enact the veto on clear "trade rapes".
There are 14-18 owners who have pledged to leave the world at the end of the season if jrcpga does not.
jrcpga has, multiple times, stated his intention to leave if a majority of the world asked. Since that has happened, he has been "on vacation" or "without internet access" and gone for 5-10 days at a clip, basically ignoring his own pledge and the terms he supplied.
He has not violated the TOS; his methods have probably cost WifS ~$1000, given the number of one & done owners he has pillaged and turned off from the game. WifS will lose more money because most of the owners pledging to leave have also pledged to not pick up another team in another world (of course...who knows if that'll turn out to be true, but I'm hopeful).
Lastly, the only reason I joined up in Clarkson was to help bust up the two juggernaut franchises and to restore competitive balance to the world. I've used the time to help new owners understand and enjoy HBD. We've got 10-12 excellent prospects for elite private worlds to recruit - players who now know the game and some of the hidden tips & tricks, thanks to the efforts of most of the veterans in the world and its excellent blog. My motivation here was to put more public pressure on an owner who is technically within the "letter of law" but who ***** all over the "spirit" of the rules. Usually, these forums are good for shitting upon tankers, trade rapists and the uneducated.
