Election Day is Tuesday. Do you see the Republicans gaining a majority of seats in the House of Representatives? The Senate?

If so, will anything be accomplished besides Presidential vetoes over the next two years?

What is your take on Mayor Michael Bloomberg wanting to reinstitute term limits after he had the law changed so he could get re-elected for a third term? Kind of lame, is it not?

If the media is to be believed, they will.  However, the largely liberal media probably wants the Dem voters to believe the Repubs are going to win in order to get more voters to the polls. 
I'm not positive anything is ever accomplished.   At least not anything of note.

Sort of confirms my belief that politicians are looking out for themselves first.   If a politician's agenda can benefit you, that's fine.  But their agenda is to benefit themselves, first and foremost.

I really didn't watch much of the Giants but it doesn't look like they can score.   I'll take the Rangers in 6.

I think they're largely a waste of time, I get a couple every week and trash them, but, if you're the guy looking for a job, you only need one hit.

I've lived in New York (Long Island) my entire life but the MTA is making it ridicioulsly expensive to travel as the fares on bridges, tunnels, and railroads seem to increase exponentially every year.

I'm thinking about moving to Pennsylvania where I would have more personal liberties and yet still be close to "home" - is this a wise idea?
