Is the Fed's QE2 program a legitimate atempt to get the economy back on track, or just a desparate ploy to provide a short-term boost and help Obama's re-election chances? Is there any way this doesn't lead to Carter-era inflation?

okay, so what is it?  Last season the team made the playoffs.  There were no major changes to the roster.  I certainly haven't changed my managerial strategy.
Are the other teams all that much better?  Was it just good luck when we made the playoffs last season?
